How to check coolant proportion:
WARNING: Don’t take off the radiator cover when engine temperature is still high or under pressure. It will cause the leakage of coolant. After the engine stopped and before the sediment formed, the coolant can be discharged some from the cooling system.
The following is the Procedure :
² For coolant with anticorrosive diethylene glycol: Put a hydrometer and a reliable thermometer to the anticoagualtion, then read it; Compare these two readings with the following form value. When it’s necessary, please regulate the coolant proportion.
² For coolant with anticorrosive propylene glycol: Open the refractometer cover and make sure that the transparent panel is clean. Drip three or four drop of water on it by a small sprinkler; Smear the coolant on the panel, close the cover. Handle the refractometer to make it horizontal with the transparent panel. Check the coolant sample through the ovservation hole; Compare the reading with the form on instrument. If necessary, adjust the proportion of coolant.
Note: The transparent panel must be cleaned compeletly. Any liquid residue used last time will effect the accuracy.
Normal load output:
After observing generator idle running and meanwhile the temperature reach to the standard (see the temperature gauge), it can operate the throttle of electrical govering to make the speed reach the rated ratated speed and adjust the voltage and frequency to reach the standard then transfer the load switch, then electricity is generated.In order to sure that load is being used outside when transfering the switch, we suggest that make the idling speed (frequency) a litter higher. When the load changed, pay attention to adjust the throttle handling ( potentiometer of electronic governer), make it fit to the output to keep voltage and frequency stable.
Earth wires for electrical welding:
When engine is need to be welded, please put the earth wires near to welding place. If the earth wire is far from welding place, the arc light will be even fire the lubricating oil.
