Steps for genset stop:
◇Unload the load gradually and disconnect the air switch automatically.
◇In the conditions of no-load, reduce the speed to 600-700rmp gradually. Stop the generator set when gas engine water temperature drop to or below 70℃.
◇When the ambient temperature is below 5℃, release all the water of gas generator set cooling system such as water cooler, circulating water pumps, oil coolers, generator body, etc to prevent freezing. There is no need to release water if add antifreezi to generator set.
◇Clean the whole generating unit, and prepare for the next use.
In order to fit for the natural gas or biogas, there are two main renovations: One is for the mixture of natural gas /biogas with air according to the reasonable proportion, the second is ignite the mixing gas quickly to improve the power efficiency. So except the same and similar component with corresponding disel generator, users can know that the special part of the gas generator set: Gas supply system, ignition system and sensor, electronic governor.
Requirements on the floor:
The floor must be flat. Its concrete structure must be thicker than 250mm for the genset≦500kW. If genset power above 500kW, its thickness will be 300 to 500mm.
Caution: Floor must be solid and basement or hollow is forbidden.
Users can decide the weight and dimension of the foundation for genset.
The thickness of foundation and load capability of floor can be work out as follows:
Load capability of floor is depend on the weight of the whole genset (includin fuel and water), genset dimension and shock-proof pad quantity, if genset base frame is fixed on floor directly, then the load of floor will be:
Load of floor =weight of genset / area of slide rail
If equipped with shock-proof pad, and genset stands on each pad:
Load of floor =weight of genset / (area of shock-proof pad ×quantity)
Therefore, load of floor can be decreased by increasing the quantity of shock-proof pad.
The large pressure of floor=weight of shock-proof pad loading the most weight / area of shock-proof pad.
